Nutrition At Its Best offers corporate wellness packages that include educational workshops, healthy menu planning, access to multi-disciplinary teams, and individual counseling, as well as grocery tours that focus on how to read a food label.


Ali J. Chernoff

Ali J. Chernoff, founder of Nutrition At Its Best, is a Registered Dietitian and Nutrition consultant who is one of the 11% of BC Dietitians operating a private practice.

Since 1993, Ali has been involved in numerous activities related to the field of nutrition, including dietitian services at many schools, sporting events and family counseling. She currently offers food tours that focus on shopping for families, diabetes education, and food label interpretation.

She has been showcased in a variety of media formats including: CTV news, Breakfast Television, Chowtime, First Talk and the Shopping Bags, Chatelaine, Today's Parent, the Vancouver Sun, the Province, Ottawa Citizen and the Vancouver Courier, as well as News 1130, the Rutherford Show, and Evolution 107.9.

Ali started a second company called Energy Essentials 24-7 Inc. to develop healthy whole foods such as a 7% M.F. Low Fat cheese, called Essential.

In the summer of 2010, she co-authored a book called Good Food Baby, which features healthy recipes and tips for parents for their baby. It has everything for parents that they need to know about nutrition for their baby from birth to one year of age.

In the spring of 2011, she co-authored her second book called Good Food Toddler, which features healthy recipes, great ideas for menu planning, snacks and dining out options. It also offers tips on many common situations, such as dealing with picky eaters or planning a party for tots with food allergies.



Brittany Thomas

Brittany Thomas is a Registered Dietitian who graduated from the University of British Columbia. She works as a clinical dietitian at Vancouver General Hospital, counselling in heart health, weight loss, and diabetes education. She is passionate about preventing chronic diseases and improving overall well-being. Brittany is an athletic enthusiast who runs half marathons, participates in triathlons and practices yoga. In 2011, she joined the Nutrition At Its Best team.

Celia Duong

Celia Duong received her Bachelor of Science degree in Food, Nutrition and Health from the University of British Columbia. She completed her dietetic internship at The Moncton Hospital in New Brunswick. During her internship, Celia gained valuable experience in counselling outpatients with various nutrition concerns. Over the years, she has provided numerous healthy eating presentations to adults and children. In 2011, she joined the Nutrition At Its Best team.

Jessica Tong Jessica Tong

Jessica is a Registered Dietitian who graduated from McGill University. She completed her Dietetic Internship at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal and St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. Through her achievements in clinical research in the field of Gastroenterology, Jessica gained valuable knowledge and insight into better understanding the effects proper nutrition has on the body. She is passionate about nutritional research and disease management. In 2012, Jessica joined the Nutrition At Its Best team.

Jessica Wang

Jessica Wang is a Registered Dietitian who graduated from the University of British Columbia. She completed her internship with Vancouver Coastal Health, where she gained valuable counselling experience at the renal dialysis unit, and in the diabetes clinic at Vancouver General Hospital and BC Women's Hospital. Over the years, she has been involved in many nutrition education initiatives for children and the general public. She is passionate about food and cooking, and enjoys sharing that enthusiasm with others. In 2012, Jessica joined the Nutrition At Its Best team.

Vivian Yeung

Vivian Yeung graduated from the University of British Columbia’s Dietetics degree program, and completed her internship at St. Paul’s Hospital where she specialized in diabetes education and outpatient care and gained valuable experience in cardiac unit, kidney clinic and community outreach program. Her work experience includes writing articles on hot topics in nutrition; leading nutrition education seminars on weight management and eating for energy; and instructing cooking demonstrations. She also works as a clinical dietitian at Fraser Health Authority. In 2011, she joined the Nutrition At Its Best team.
